Quantum Encryption - could solve the "100-year" problem - Tall claims , will it come true?

I am not a Quantum Computing Guru but I know one thing that is repeated again and again.

"To observe something is to change it".

So, this concept is supposed to help encryption. I would like to see this tested by security experts and learn what they have to say.
